Solidworks Drafter

We are seeking a full-time Drafter with the ability to create accurate technical drawings and support the development of our new quoting system. The Drafter will play a key role in organizing product documentation, reviewing architectural plans, and maintaining drawing standards across multiple platforms. Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage evolving projects will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our estimating and production processes.

During the initial three-month contract period, the primary focus will include completing product line drawings for the new quoting system and training on grille schedule plan reviews. Additional responsibilities may include developing product models in SolidWorks, reviewing architectural plans for estimating purposes, documenting production activity in Salesforce, updating drawings and cut sheets for the website, assisting with AutoCAD drawings, and supporting additional drafting and documentation projects as needed.

Terms: Full-time employment will be offered at the end of the three months based on evaluation.

Time: Monday to Friday 9-4:30, Onsite only

During the first three months, the focus will be on:

• Completing the product line drawings for the new quoting system.
• Training on Grille schedule of plans

Additional projects moving forward will include:

• Create our product line in SolidWorks for the new quoting system
• Review the plans provided by the Architect to create a grille schedule for estimating. Training on what products to look for will be provided.
• Document production in Salesforce. Training will be provided in SF.
• Upgrade of drawings and cut sheets on website
• Assist with AutoCAD drawings when needed.
• Additional misc. projects
