Description: Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located at 42 Second Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that has been in business since 1945.

We are seeking a full time experienced TIG Welder to work with different materials including but not limited to aluminum, brass, bronze, stainless steel and steel in order to manufacture a custom grille as per specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • TIG welding experience required
  • Use of hand welding equipment
  • Use of other basic tools
  • Weld different metal components to create end product
  • Other duties maybe assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be able to weld -TIG
  • Mechanical mindset
  • Generate end product to meet production objective for optimum cost, quality, speed, throughput and on time deliveries
  • Neat and organized
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
  • Ability to adapt to change

Working Conditions:

  • Sitting most of the day at bench
  • Clean environment
  • May have to carry heavy items
  • Eyes may be strained during the day
  • Must be able to be flexible with hands, wrists and arms to adjust to certain projects
  • Smoke from welding can be irritating

Pay Scale:  TBD

FLSA Status: Non Exempt / Hourly

Bonus Bucket: (depends on hourly pay)

Benefit Enrollment Package: 30 Days

Introductory Period / Evaluation: 90 Days

Accrue PTO: Immediate

Paid Holidays: 30 Days

Performance Review: 180 Days

    Paid Time Off (PTO):

    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of six (6) months: 10 PTO's
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of two (2) years: 12 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of three (3) years: 13 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of four (4) years: 14 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of five (5) years: 15 PTO’s
